Christmas Break
I was too excited to fall asleep when I finished all the tests. I finally could go back to home! After sitting on the plane for more than 20 hours, I saw my parents. My mother's hair seemed much longer and my father seemed to be stronger than he used to be. Perhaps he worked out more frequently than before. When we got the parking area, my three lovely dogs ran to me and wagged their tails. I missed them all the time. Then we drove to home.
Next day was not that fortunate. I was infected with flu and I had a high fever. The cause of this was my best friend who studies in Germany came back at the same time and she stayed in our house. However, she had a flu and I didn't know that till I was infected. My parents brought me to the hospital and I got two shots. I felt terrible in that three days. Flu has made me loose my appetite. You know, I even made a long list about what I am going to eat in China.
When I got well, I hang out with my friends. We went to The Happy Valley and we tried so many exciting roller coasters. When we entered the valley, the vertical roller coaster caught our eyes first. It looks like a lofty snake, letting visitors slide on its body and scream, but never gets angry. So, cool! I thought. After waiting for about 20 minutes, it was our turn. I seated myself and the staff helped me tight the safety belt. Because I couldn't move and was wondering what was waiting for me. I felt we were like prisoners waiting for execution. Then we started. We were moving upward in the sky. I once admired the birds flying in the sky. Later we reached a platform and stopped for a while. When I looked down, I felt my heartbeat accelerating, but suddenly stopped. I was falling! It dropped off like a ball kissing the ground. There was a moment when I feared I was dying. In the end, the dollar coaster stopped. I looked around and found all my friends were still suffering from the shock. I was clear that that experience made me cherish the time standing on the ground. But it was fun.
I also ate a lot of delicious food and watched a new Chinese movie. But it was not as good as I thought. I spent a lot of time with my family and I missed them so much. I am looking forward for the summer break.
Sounds fun,
